Parks Day - Jasper

  • Description:

    • This annual summer event lets people learn about the spectacular nature that surrounds the town of Jasper. Take guided hikes, watch special guest presentations, see wildlife exhibits and finish it all off with a scrumptious barbecue. Hosted by the non-profit Friends of Jasper organization, the event usually has a theme, and explores the wild and wonderful aspects of the Canadian Rockies. The event teaches visitors how to appreciate the wolves, birds, bears, fish and other creatures that inhabit the area-without impacting their environment.
