Kid-friendly hotels in Jerusalem abound. They're the ones with the swimming pools, large breakfast rooms and spacious lobbies.
Top pick for kid-friendly hotel is the Dan Panorama in central Jerusalem. There's a decent size pool on the rooftop where noise won't disturb anyone; a bustling spacious dining room well stocked with kids favorite breakfast items and plenty of room to spread out and a lobby where families can regroup after a hard day's touring. Rooms are sturdy and set up to accommodate families too, and the Liberty Bell Park is nearby if anyone wants to run around and let off steam.
Just down the street is the King Solomon Hotel, another good pick for families with kids. Adjoining rooms make it easy for larger families to keep an eye on each other. Reasonable rates make this one a favorite for families coming to Jerusalem.
At the luxury end, the Inbal Hotel will keep everyone in the family occupied--a beautifully appointed swimming pool and health club, good lobby and courtyard for running around, rooms that can accommodate two or more kids with their parents and a location right next door to the Liberty Bell Park make this a great choice if you can afford it.
The small Eldan Hotel on King David Street is a good basic option for families if you're on a budget and looking for a good clean place to sleep. It's a small basic hotel with a great location within 10 minutes walk of the Old City, but lacking a pool and the spaciousness of our top picks.
Other hotels on the list are the Mt Zion--kids will love to explore the hallways of this old building before they jump in the outside pool to cool off.
The Leonardo Plaza is another good family choice--a short walk from the popular Ben Yehuda Street pedestrian mall; nice pool, very spacious public spaces and a good lobby for hanging out. One drawback here--the restaurants may be a little too pristine for rambunctious kids.
