Description:
Location is the big plus for this hotel: It's next door to the Great Synagogue/Heichal Shlomo building, and a 10-minute walk from the Ben-Yehuda area. A good supermarket is half a block away. The lobby and lounge areas have a light, garden feel. They were designed in the late 1980s and have occasionally been updated. Rooms have been more recently redone; they are functional rather than gracious, and rather small. The hotel is often used by tour groups and is available at discounts through package consolidators. You enter the hotel on Ramban Street; note that this busy intersection suffers from a high level of traffic noise. Try for a rear room. Food service is glatt kosher.
