• Jerusalem boasts many fine bakeries, but Teller, located on the main street leading to the lively Machane Yehuda market, is one of the few that has a cafe attached that has some atmosphere.  Watching the fragrant handmade breads and rolls emerge from the brick oven while sipping on a cappucino is a delight. A selection of freshly made sandwiches on Teller's superb variety of dense breads--whole wheat, rye and challa are specialties--is just a teaser for the delectable desserts that line the display cases in front of your table. Individual fruit tarts with the best seasonal fruit and a delicate glaze; hearty babka or fancy tortes topped with all manner of edible delights are all available to take home.
