Description:

Four synagogues with history ating back to the 13th century. Each one of the four is an architectural gem. These synagogues were completely destroyed during the Jordanian occupation of 1948-1967 and restored in the 1970s. During the siege of Jerusalem in 1948, the Jews who remained in the Old City sought refuge in the Four Synagogues.
