Description:
Located in the heart of town, this lake park, popular with locals, is situated by springs. The park is most famous for its lotus flowers, which are best viewed during the Lotus Festival (July-Aug). There's a memorial for the female poet Li Qingzhao, who romanticized the park's flowers 800 years ago in her poems. A sightseeing cable car whisks you to the top of hill in 13 minutes and costs ¥10 ($1.30/65p).
