• Banda Inns is the home of Asteria Ococi & Steven Tamale, offering a homey environment to business travellers and tourists. Asteria is Ugandan working in the tourist industry. Steven is a Uganda-Norwegian farmer. We started B&B operations with four bedrooms August 2006 and expanded to a total of nine bedrooms in 2007. Banda Inns is located in Muyenga (Tank Hill), a quiet suburb of Kampala. Muyenga has a variety of shops and restaurants, and is a popular place to live among Ugandans and international expatriates. For most travellers Uganda is a positive experience and eye opener, different from what you might have heard. The Ugandan trademark is friendly people and diverse nature. In Kampala we recommend to visit various markets for food, crafts, fruits etc. to see, touch and smell some of Uganda. We also recommend to go for a safari to one of the many national parks.
