Uganda Martyrs National Shrine, Kampala

  • User Review:

    • This is a place of worship which was built in the memory of the christian converts who were killed in the 1880s by the late King of Buganda (King Mwanga"). These were killed on orders of that king for refusing to obey his orders and praising Jesus as their king. They were burnt to death by Mukajanga. Visit the place for more information and history of the martyrs. If you come on a cultural tour you do not have to miss this place you will not regret it.
