Description:
- Escalante, also known as the grand Staircase, is one of the highlights of the American Southwest. Located in Utah, not far from Bryce and Zion National Parks, Escalante is still preserved as a wilderness area. Paved roads and concession stands have not made their way into this park. Four-wheel drive roads and hiking or riding trails are the best way to see this monument.
