This, without a doubt, is Katamachi's easiest restaurant to find: It's located on the third floor of the very visible Excel Hotel Tokyu. Sister restaurant to a famous 80-year-old restaurant in the Teramachi Temple district (near Myoryuji Temple), this one is popular with Japanese women, perhaps because it's a nonsmoking restaurant. The menu includes tempura, Kaga kaiseki, sushi, and steak, but most popular are the obento with a variety of dishes for ¥1,732 to ¥3,465 ($14-$29/£7-£14).
