Description:

  • It is hard to believe this blues joint has only been around since 1985. It looks and feels as old as the music itself. The building came about in 1912 and served time as a prohibition drink hub and brothel before becoming the city's destination for live music. The emphasis is on blues, but you can hear every type of music imaginable. The Emporium has twice received the prestigious honor of "Best Blues Club" by the Blues Foundation.
