• I've known Mahesh and family since the early 1980's when they ran a guest house in Maruhity, near to the Durbar Square. They are very friendly and honest and their hotel is very welcoming to its guests. The rooms are quite small but they do have some enormous ones with three beds. A real plus is the roof-top cafe and the excellent Ram Krishna, who makes the best milk coffee in town. Prices are around US$12 - 20 depending on the season.
