i want to visit nepal in july 2011 for 2 days.i want to visit lord shivas temple and some sightseeing.my itenerary will be from gaya in indi

R u from Deoria in U.P which is near to Gorakhpur, if this is the same Deoria, then i would like to inform u that Deoria is the birth place of my mother and i go to Deoria once in a year

Day 01: Kathmandu /Arrival
Arrival in Katmandu, meet assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel Vaishali 4 star or any 5 star and depart for sightseeing of Kathmandu start from Hindu’s Great Temple Pasupatinath .
About five kms from Kathmandu the famous Pasupatinath Temple renowned for its superb architecture, its two-tiered golden roof and silver doors. Thousands of devotees converge here on an annual pilgrimage on the occasion of Maha Shivratri, the night of Lord Shiva falls in the month February. Entrance into the temple-precincts is permitted only for the Hindus but other can clearly see the temple and rituals beings performed inside from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.
The temple was listed in the UNESCO world Heritage Monument list in 1797. and visit vishal Market for shopping . Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: (.00am go to Pasupatinath and do special Puja at 9.30 it will be more special.

The Stupa of Boudhanath lies eight kilometers east of Kathmandu. This colossal and ancient Stupa, one of the biggest in the world, features all the eyes of Lord Buddha. It has become the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism. Lichchhavi king Kana Dev built it in the fifth century AD. It is built on an octagonal base, inset in the design of Mandala with prayer wheels. This is the one of the UNESCO cultural heritage sites of Nepal.
12.30 pm Visit Patan:
The City of Patan:
Patan Durbar Square
This ancient city of Patan is situated on the southern bank of the river Bagmati and is about five kilometers Southeast of Kathmandu. Lalitpur, "The City of Beauty" is another name for Patan. The city is full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments exhibiting skillful carvings. Noted for its craftsmen and metal workers, Patan is also known as the city of architecture and craftsmanship.

The Durbar Square in Kathmandu is a fascinating complex of old palaces and temples in the heart of Kathmandu’s old town. The word “durbar” means “palace”, and Nepal’s kings used to live here and rule from the Hanuman Dhoka Palace until the construction of the Nararayanhiti Royal Palace.
Many of the palaces and temples in Durbar Square were built during the reign of the Malla Kings (1200 to 1768) and are beautiful examples of Newari architecture, Nepal’s most distinctive architectural style. After an earthquake damaged many parts of the square in 1934, several buildings were rebuilt. The Durbar Square is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 03: Katmandu-Departure
After Breakfast make most of the day before transport to airport departure to onward destination.
