Tyangboche Mani Rimdu festival fixed date October 29, 30 and 31 - 2012
Mani Rimdu Festival at Tengboche Monastery:
Mani Rimbu Festival is a Buddhist ceremony held at Tengboche Monastery each year in October-November according to the Tibetan lunar calendar. It is the most celebrated festival among the Sherpa community as the Tengboche Rinpoche presiding over the festival offers wong blessing (empowerment) to the people. The festival consists of nine days of ceremonies and meditation (Drupchen). This is concluded by a special blessing ceremony given by Tengboche Rinpoche to the public, and the world renowned Mask Dances are performed by the monks at Tengboche Monastery.

it is going to be celebrate on november 12-14 on 2012 this year!that is held during the tenth lunar month of the Tibetan calendar, corresponding to October–November of the Gregorian calendar. It is also the autumnal trekking season in the region when large groups of international tourists visit the Monastery to witness the festivities that last for nine days. The religious festivities involve ceremonies.
