- Eating on a budget will not be a problem in Kauai. There are a lots of restaurants that offer reasonably priced dishes. If you wish to experience a little piece of Old Hawaii, Duke's Canoe Club restaurant is located inside the Kauai Marriott Resort and offers the best of Pacific Rim cuisine, along with an outstanding ambiance and beautiful views. For dessert, head to Lappert's. All their products are baked, stirred, and mixed fresh daily in small batches. Another great spot for cheap eats is Deli & Bread Connection. The bread here is fresh-baked on the premises and the vast spread of deli meats and cheeses gives you plenty of sandwich fixings to choose from. Aside from the sandwiches, fresh-made soups are also a specialty. You don't have to break the bank when dining out in Kauai.
