Step back in time to the 1940s, when old Hawaiian families lived in open, airy, rambling homes on large plots of land lush with fruit trees and sweet-smelling flowers. This gracious age is still alive and well in Lani-keha, a kamaaina (old-timer) home with an open living/game/writing/dining room, with oversize picture windows to take in the views, and bedrooms with private bathrooms. The house is elegant yet casual, with old-style rattan furniture -- practicality and comfort outweigh design aesthetics. The large communal kitchen has everything a cook could want, even a dishwasher. All the guests share the TV/VCR and single phone in the living area.

Nice place with a gorgeous garden
Very nice owner at a very nice place. You really need a car. It's quiet and near the "Sleeping Giant"...a lot of lemon-,lime- and other fruittrees in the garden. Maybe...
