Description:
Located in the Poipu Bay Golf Course Clubhouse, Yum Cha (which means "drink tea") offers families a range of Asian dishes at fairly reasonable prices. Small plate appetizers range from chilled summer rolls ($9) to vegetable tempura ($10) to a grilled chicken satay ($8). My faves were the soups: tom yum (a small bowl $9) and the yellow coconut curry ($8 small bowl). Entrees seem to cover the map of Asia from Korean beef short ribs ($21) to Mandarin chicken ($16) to stir-fried soba noodles ($10). Don't forget to drink tea; they specialize in a great selection of Chinese loose teas. Pick the jasmine lovers' ball tea, a great fragrance of orange lily and jasmine.

The martinis were great, Food was ordinary but the lychee martinis were really tasty. The brochures portray it as upscale and intimate but is so not! very loud and very open.
