This is the hottest of dining spots in Kelowna, and the first solo venture of chef/owner Rod Butters, who has worked at some of western Canada's top restaurants. The cooking focuses on fresh, relatively unfussy regional cuisine. Start with a crisp jumbo prawn tempura shrimp with minted melon salad and bell pepper chutney and move on to a main dish of roast pheasant breast with foie gras spring roll, or prosciutto wrapped rockfish and shellfish sausage. Service is top-notch; the wine list celebrates the vintages of the Okanagan Valley.
