- Calling all fishing enthusiasts, enjoy a day at sea off the Florida Keys in a bout of either Offshore or Reef and Wreck Fishing. All equipment is provided and both full and half-day trips are available.
Offshore light tackle fishing is the pinnacle of the sport. Matching wits with giant open ocean pelagic fish is addictive. Never knowing what will come up behind the trolled baits, skimming along the deep blue water offshore is unnerving to say the least. Throughout the year, Key West enjoys numerous migrating species which keep our captains on the water every day, searching for signs of fish activity such as diving birds, weedlines and color changes critical to locating Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, Cobia, and King Mackerel, to name just a few.
More versatile, modern, center consoled boats now fill the fleet, and for good reason. These highly efficient boats cover the distance to the fishing grounds quicker, allowing anglers much more valuable lines in the water time with out giving up any creature comforts. Every offshore boat in the fleet has a T-top and rest room facilities. Once you experience the thrill of light tackle offshore fishing, you will never pick up a heavy rod again!
Reef and Wreck Fishing
This is hands down the most productive type of fishing today - light tackle and fly fishing enthusiasts will be in awe of the non-stop action. Reef and wreck fishing routinely produces abundant catches of snapper, grouper, cobia, permit, shark, barracuda, and mackerel to name but a few. Various methods are used including artificial and live bait. The finest 26' to 29' center consoled fishing machines are used, equipped with the best in electronics and tackle. All boats have T-tops, and restroom facilities. The minimal travel time to the fishing sites allows for maximum fishing time.
