    • Seeing Kharkiv cultural sightseeing you should obviously visit Kharkiv Historical Museum, it is situated in Universitetskaya street - the central street of Kharkiv. It was founded in the 1920. Kharkiv Historical Museum consists of 4 sections : primitive society, feudalism, capitalism and Soviet periods. There you will be impressed by archaeological findings of the Bronze Age Epoch and different items of the Slav resettlement Epoch, which were made in the territory of Kharkiv and its region. There are also Scythian sword and arrowheads, fragments of horse harness and ritual items of the Scythians Epoch, archaeological findings of the Epoch of Great transmigration of peoples, jewelry items and spearheads of steppe people of the Kyiv Rus Epoch, Russian and Mongolian weapons of the Tatar-Mongol invasion Epoch, items of Polish origin the 16th -17th century, weapons and armor of the Epoch of Ukrainian liberation war against the Polish gentry, one of the early printed Russian books "The Apostle" ,household items and weapons of the 17th -18th century, exhibit items of the Second World war. On the outdoors performance stage there exposed T-34 tank and four guns of the Great Patriotic War .If you are fond of history, it is the place where you will enjoy every minute of your stay.
