Palace of Labour

  • User Review:

    • The building which connects two squares of the city – Roza Luxemburg and Constitution Squares, is Palace of Labour. It will attract your attention by its size and architectural finish. It was built in 1916 as lodging house of "Russia" Insurance Company. Palace of Labour has a big size even by today's standards. There were trade union organizations in this building after revolution what caused to give such a name to that construction. That building intended to be occupied by banks and commercial organizations and had 6 floors. The designed purpose has not changed nowadays, boutiques occupy the lower floors, and the upper ones are occupied by offices of different companies and trade unions.
