  Notable because it's the only hotel in Musanze that takes credit card (Visa), La Palme allows you to feel confident in your room reservation before you travel. La Palme is a quality hotel with all the amenities that you would expect in a Western hotel; it even has a generator to prevent those moments when you realize that you are actually travelling in Africa. Its rooms are clean; it has great views of Volcanoes National Park; and the wait staff is incredibly friendly. Its dining room is a little less formal than Gorillas Hotel, but it generally has the same options, including a lunch-time buffet. Even without a view of the park, the back patio is a great place to have a drink after a gorilla trek!
