- Kilkenny Tourist Hostel is a comfortable, relaxed and youth-oriented hostel in a Georgian townhouse in the centre of Kilkenny. The bedrooms are small, clean and comfortable. There is a sitting-room with an open fire and a fully equipped kitchen for use by the guests. The staff use a blackboard and chalk to fill in guests on what to do on a day to day basis in Kilkenny. It is worth calling in just to have a look at this noticeboard, which is comprehensive and accurate. All in all, a great place for travelers on a tight budget.
