• There is something unusually of the Fojnica people, someone old hosting from centuries of old Bosnian cities and its hospitality or it is something from Fojnica air - full of oxygen abstracted from the century old forest around the place or or water, the radioactive and mineralised and so on water. The water as an attraction (Prokos lake, Kozice falls); the water as a drinking liquid (springs Pozarne, Tocila, Jezernica, ...); the water as a medicine (radioactive thermal spring Banja); ; or … just come here and you will discover the water full of life. Ten years after occupation of Bosnia by Austrian Empire, (E. Ludwig, 1888), they had ambition to check legend of well-known healing thermal water in Fojnica. They made first serious analyses and conclusions of the water: there are radio activities; it belongs to mild materialised water; hydro carbonate – sulphate – calcium – sodium type; it is rich of rare microelements like lithium, strontium, rubidium which are very important for complex healing onto human health. There is a quotation of famous Prof. dr M. Ciglar which confirms the well-known of the water: " The Nature can not offer better and unique source to rehabilitate our health than natural water rich of various kind of mineralised substances and gases which can improve our healing in remarkable way."
