Kona CC - Mountain Course

Description:

• There are two courses at Kona CC: the Mountain and the Ocean. The Ali'i Mountain Course was built on an inland hillside and has lava areas which are played as lateral hazards. The Mountain Course (rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest), has a cool Mountain setting that overlooks the ocean and offers a more challenging terrain than the Ocean course. Ancient Hawaiian rock slides run through its center. Don't expect as much wind down on the Kona coast as is the norm with courses on the northern coast of the Big Island. Located just a few minutes south of the airport, Kona CC is accessible even if you are staying on the Kohala Coast.
