- This impressive hundred-metre-long four-deck luxury concrete cruiser is actually filled with shops, restaurants, a cinema and recreational facilities. The site used to be the Kowloon Dockyard, which is why the mall was built in the form of a cruiser. The ship is in the middle of Whampoa Garden, a middle class housing estate. It is a bit off the tourist track but not hard to get to. The Star Ferry goes from Central and Wanchai to Hunghom, where the ferry pier is just a few blocks away from the Whampoa.
