- Come the weekend, Alexis Bistro in Ampang morphs into a live music venue. After 10:30pm, the restaurant and bar transform to accommodate a stage, and is packed with enthusiastic crowds. The repertoire, every Friday and Saturday nights, is mainly jazz featuring a range of local and internationally renowned acts. Check out popular acts like local songstress Atilia, pianist Michael Veerapen, and percussionist Lewis Pragasam, who bring their talent to the party. The interior spans 5,000 sq feet, with plenty of wood and stylish, warm furnishing. Alexis Bistro has garnered quite a reputation for serving local delicacies and inventive modern European food plus yummy home-made cakes. This isn't strictly a club, as you can gain entry with a dinner reservation (plus music charge).
