Description:
Every city needs a reggae bar. This is KL's most established. This compact venue has a lot to offer. It's filled to the brim with a hodge- podge of people, décor and color. There's a pool table; a big screen TV screening the latest EPL matches most weekends; and on other nights drinking competitions and pool tourneys plus reggae costume nights and dreadlock nights that are in sync with the bar's theme. The Reggae Bar is a great place to meet other travelers. Its location in the backpackers' quarter of KL, in Chinatown, makes this joint hugely popular with the budget conscious tourist. Expect endless Bob Marley, UB40 and King Tubby. Happy hours are between 5pm to 9pm daily. Also, check out their more up- market sister outlet on Changkat Bukit Bintang – Reggae Bar 2, which serves as a bar/ club downstairs and a dining area upstairs, specializing in mod European cuisine.
