- Rootz is a luxurious club on the roof-top of Lot 10 Shopping Center. It's a jewel box of velvet sofas, plush drapes and plenty of mirrored walls. A long bar takes centerstage; local celebs and models crowd the spacious dance floor. For more intimate parties, there are the club's two private rooms. Service in a club this huge can get a little sluggish so be patient. It's hip hop all week except Fridays when the beat turns to house. Roll with hip hop boys Joe Flizzow and gang as they spin hot jams every Thursday and Saturday. Ladies walk in free with two drinks every Wednesday and enjoy a free flow of apple martinis and cosmos on Thursdays. Cover charge ranges from RM40/ US$13 to RM65/ US$21. On the menu – expect a wide range of bubbly; a bottle of Johnny Walker, Sky Vodka or Moet sets you back RM260/ US$85++ each (pretty affordable prices for a club in the city).
