KL is a fun city- there are countless fun things to do to keep everyone occupied. These things vary from outdoor and nature based activities to art and craft. Our number one top fun thing to do is to visit the School of Hard Knocks at the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory, some 20 minutes out of the city centre. Play the role of a pewter-smith by knocking and bashing to manipulate a sheet of pewter into a dish. This fun activity is a highly appropriate activity given that KL city began as a tin mining town. Next on our list at number two is the highly anticipated Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix. Though it happens only once a year, it's a must experience - so try and coincide your trip with the race as it promises some super fun. The Sepang International Circuit burns up as top F1 racers take on twists and turns, in extreme hot and wet conditions. Along with the race, KL celebrates with fashion shows, classic car parades, thumping after- parties and concerts.
At number three is the absolute fun Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary - here's your chance to get up-close and personal with these gentle, domesticated beasts. You can feed, stroke, ride and even swim with the elephants in a terrific jungle river location. The Sunway Lagoon Theme Park lands at number four - it's a great fun activity for the entire family. There are lots of things you can do at this massive African/ Wild West theme park - water parks to splash around, thrilling rides and wave pool for little ones. Our fifth pick has got to be the Petronas Twin Towers - ride up the high-speed lift and get a bird's eye view of the city. Strolling along the glass-encased pathway some 170-metres above the ground feels as if you're floating over the city.
