Hotels Near Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

  • It's the city's most prestigious address. The hotels located close to the Petronas Twin Towers enjoy privileged access to the KLCC area which comprises of the Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC (shopping center), KLCC park and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center. It's a great location for both business and leisure travelers. You're in close proximity to many interesting venues worthy of a visit. Have a full day browsing through works of art at a gallery, trying on designer shoes before immersing yourself in some cultural extravaganza or simply take a stroll in the park.

    Naturally the number one and two spot belong to the Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur and the Traders Hotel. Both hotels are located within the same vicinity of the Petronas Twin Towers. Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur is the towers' closest neighbor - a side door will take you directly from the hotel to the shopping center, which is at the foot of the towers. Rooms at the Traders Hotel, located slightly further away, enjoy grand views of the adjacent towers. A short walk through the park or through a covered walkway brings you right to the foot of the towers. Another option - hop onto the hotel's buggy for an easy ride to the towers.

    The Ascott, on Jalan Pinang, makes it to the number three spot as it's just a 3-5 minute walk across to the Petronas Twin Towers. It's a great venue for families travelling with kids. Up the road is Impiana KLCC & Spa, which sits right across from the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center, and is our fourth pick. Hotel Maya, our fifth choice, is a great option if you want a boutique styled hotel very close to the towers. You will approach the towers from Jalan Ampang when staying here.

    Though there may be other hotels closer to the towers, three of the city's newer hotels join the lineup. Not only are these hotels close enough to the towers (a 10 minute walk) but they have been picked because they each offer the traveler a unique experience. The G Tower Hotel, Doubletree by Hilton and Villa Samadhi offer much more in terms of service and stay. If you're staying at any one of these hotels, you have the choice of hopping onto the LRT (light rail transit) for a quick, hassle-free ride to the towers.
