    • The 505-room Hotel Istana sticks to the tried and tested, opting for traditional glamour instead of the minimalist trend most newer hotels are choosing. Spot the glam in the hotel's interior of black marble and beaded chandeliers. The hotel's suites come with complimentary broadband, DVD player, flat screen TV, iron and ironing boards, and in-room safe. Regular deluxe rooms carry a charge for internet access. The hotel has recently undergone a facelift – expect upgraded guests rooms, dining outlets, a spa, and meeting facilities. Rooms are extremely spacious – a characteristic of older hotels. One thing that the hotel's got going is its central location, right smack in the middle of town.

    • Used to always stay at another hotel in KL, then they started to let things go ie, decor, service etc, so I went online and found this hotel. Istana is amazing had several nights there...
