Rooms come in good sizes, with splashes of modern art, 32-inch flat screen TV (with limited channels), iron and ironing board, in-room safe, separate shower and toilet cubicles, modern washbasins in the middle of the room (anticipate difficulty while shaving), and complimentary wifi. Opt for rooms on higher floors as the hotel's outdoor bar can get quite busy and noisy at night. Piccolo Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers good value for money minus the frills. Its boutique status is contestable because service is not overly outstanding nor is the décor ultra chic and the hotel lacks a pool and room service.
