It has attracted a whole new clientele for the Bangsar area who love classic Italian cuisine. The restaurant's chef, Giuliano Berta knows his customers and what they want to eat. Try spinach cappellacci stuffed with cod fish mousse; pumpkin and potato gnocchi with walnut and gorgonzola cheese; and pan seared sea bass fillet; or veal ravioli with Porcini mushroom cream sauce. A separate dessert menu promises a sweet ending to your dining experience – make sure you have the apple pie with vanilla gelato; the decadently creamy zabione (mixed berries with pistachio gelato and gratinated marsala wine sabayon); or mille foglie (thick custard cream and raspberries sandwiched in between crisp puff pastry). A wooden staircase leads into the formal dining room, complete with rich dark seating and drapes. Garibaldi Restaurant and Bar provides the setting for seasonal and lavish tasting menus, executed with military precision by Giuliano Berta and his team.
