Ibunda Malay Fine Dining

Description:

  • Ibunda provides a revitalizing spark to traditional Malay cuisine. Local Chef Zabidi Ibrahim is having the most fun with food, tweaking classic Malay dishes with French technique. Try pan-fried foie gras served with ciku fruit and lemongrass roselle chutney; baked scallops with kemanggi leaf and sour Jamaican plum; or crispy lobster meat served with pink grapefruit and black caviar. For mains, opt for the aromatic char-grilled tenderloin steak with briyani rice and pumpkin curry; or steamed black cod and lobster with mixed beans, belacan (shrimp paste) and ginger-garlic sauce. The attractive mansion, with its soft yellow lighting and huge columns, is colonial romance in modern dress.
