Description:
It's located a little further out of the city (the restaurant happily makes arrangements for pick-up from the hotel you're at). It serves some of the best Lao-Cambodian and Vietnamese fare in a spectacular setting. A wooden door leads you down a candle-lit path that meanders into the restaurant's rustic interior, enveloped by a tropical jungle setting. As you sit down to eat, you will be awestruck by the beauty that surrounds you. Tamarind Springs with its Asian inspired décor (imagine wooden sculptures and warm colors) is utterly gorgeous. The restaurant interior complements the food perfectly.Indulge in salmon parcels with Asian pesto, Vietnamese soft shell crab, stir-fried crab and spicy tom yam. Within the same premises, two other restaurants have been garnering attention – Il Tempio for contemporary Italian and Mandi Mandi for innovative Malay flavors. Its sister restaurant Tamarind Hill, on Jalan Sultan Ismail, dazzles palates with its Thai-Burmese cuisine.
