Here you'll find traditional dishes plus something a little extra – local ingredients and flavors mingling with more Western tastes and textures. Sample otak-otak berkirai (baked mackerel fish cake with crispy prawn and honey seafood black sauce), or ikan tuna labu kecil kepal kerdil pais kelapa kering, which is essentially pan-fried tuna with local spices, served with pumpkin curry sauce and spicy pomegranate. The fish is highly recommended for its fresh and succulent taste.
