Tykoh Inagiku Japanese Restaurant

  • Cuisines: Asian, Japanese
  • NileGuide Expert tip:

The owner is apparently also a wholesaler at the popular Tsukiji market so diners can count on the freshest products and ingredients.

  • Description:

    • One of KL's oldest Japanese restaurants that still manages to draw in the crowds (expat Japanese and locals alike) for the freshest sashimi. From rare cuts of mizudako (giant octopus) to horse mackerel and divine toro (tuna belly), as well as grilled tuna cheek cooked over a country-style charcoal stove, it's clear that food is revered here. Other specialties include simple, fluffy dashimaki tamago which is eggs served with finely shredded daikon radish, anago sushi made with sea eel, and prawn teppanyaki, a large prawn cooked teppan style and served with a creamy hollandaise sauce. Japanese chefs helm the kitchen, guaranteeing authenticity and high quality creations.
