• Petrosains, the city's interactive science museum, gets two thumbs up for turning everything about petroleum into something fun and exciting, especially for young kids. Visitors use their five senses to explore the scientific realm that comprises dinosaurs, erupting volcanoes, a simulated helicopter ride and hands-on demonstrations of gravity, motion and inertia. The place is chock-a-block with experiment stations to keep little hands and minds occupied for hours. Younger visitors simply enjoy running through all the different levels and ramps. Children will particularly love entering and exiting the museum in a gondola-like contraption on wheels. The ride takes visitors through re-creations of rainforests and seascapes. Besides a Kids Park for 2 to 6 year olds, there's also a play area filled with giant Lego blocks and oil rig dress-up clothes for more play.
