Many tour agencies in the city arrange for trips to Sunway Lagoon, a 15-30 minute drive from the city (depending on the traffic). Otherwise hop into a cab. Or ride the LRT and get off at the Kelana Jaya station. From there, just catch a feeder bus to the Sunway Pyramid stop.
Description:
Sunway Lagoon is great for the family. If you want to get in on the fun, there are lots of things you can do at this massive African/ Wild West theme park. Head straight for the water park to splash around. Older kids can experience the thrilling rides that launch them above a waterfall. For little kids, there's the Kalahari Kids area where they can bop about the wave pool on tubes. And that's just the start: this former tin mine, now transformed into 32-hectares of unending fun, has surfing pools, funfair rides, wildlife park with animals to pet and an extreme park with Flying Fox and climbing wall to keep everyone entertained. Or you can rock out on countless roller coasters – try braving the 65-meters high coaster called Force-X. The adjoining Sunway Pyramid Shopping Centre is littered with chic boutiques and restaurants to keep adults occupied.
