The Spa most definitely takes it a step further – all eight treatment rooms are decked out in relaxing earthy tones and warm lighting to calm and soothe; there's also a private consultation room, steam rooms, dry saunas, hot and cold Jacuzzis; a relaxation lounge; spa cuisine; and boutique. All spa products used contain natural plant extracts. The Spa has a unique booking system where guests are encouraged to book time (this is known as 'Time Ritual') of two or three- hour treatment slots instead of treatments. That way services can be tailor made to fit individual needs. Your 'time ritual' begins with a soothing foot massage. Treatments offered include massages, scrubs and facials. The 50-minute or one hour and 20-minute traditional Malay massage or urut involves the concept of moving 'wind' through methodical and rhythmic massage movements in order to enhance circulation and restore balance.
