Pirate DVD peddlers are not regularly found in markets nowadays - due to enforcement on Pirated Media in Malaysia. However, despite all efforts it is still available out there in a more subtle form. The peddlers move individually all over coffee shops, various 7-Elevens and some establishments (smaller ones), selling Original DVDs even have them in stock, under the counter or somewhere else. The Pirate DVD scene is not as rampant as before as their contents are already known by the public to be from the Internet (P2P, FTP or HTTP sources). Hence, 20% of their clientele who are IT savvy, has stopped purchasing.
