• Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah is a main state mosque.Built using blue marble is a remarkable attraction for those goes to Kuantan. Everybody can pay a visit to this mosque and it open to everybody day and night. For muslim visitor they can do the iktiqaf here while wait for the sholah jemaah. Nearby this remarkable building is the soccer field. This field become an interesting place during ramadhan. Since there are lot of stalls selling food for the fasting break. They bought food here and eat it with their friends on the soccer field. At night we can see beautiful light shine from the mosque. Another specialty of the area nearby here is a traditional medicine market held every in the morning till 13.00. We can see so many trick, weird thing, and speeches said by the seller to attract customers. I am sure this place won't let you down if you really want to see the real Kuantan.
