- A showcase for Suntory Breweries, Malt's Club is located on delightful Shinbashi in Gion, among the weeping willows and cobbled streets. It is a good place to put on your glad rags and lounge in style. Downstairs there is a colorfully-carpeted Mongolian yurt, while on the ground level there is a woodsy Japanese-style counter and tatami seating bar. Upstairs a jazz lounge and British-style bar complete with comfortable armchairs and Edwardian prints. Malt's is a very interesting place to stop for a drink on any tours of Gion, the service is prompt and you can choose a different setting to reflect your mood. If you are yearning for a Mongolian yurt or aching for an Edwardian armchair Malt's could be for you.
