Mikaku

Description:

  • Established almost a century ago by the present owner's grandfather, this restaurant, in the heart of Gion, is housed in a 100-year-old renovated building that was once a private home. It offers sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, oil-yaki (sliced beef cooked on an iron griddle and flavored with soy sauce, lemon, and Japanese radish), and teppanyaki, all made with high-grade Kobe beef.
