• Recently opened near Kinkakuji, Nannabunnoichi serves good French-inspired Mediterranean cuisine with a subtle nod towards Japanese flavorings. The decor is quite modern, as befits a new restaurant, featuring clean lines and plenty of light. A good place to treat a special friend. The menu is a delight of delicate seafood, meat, vegetable and pasta dishes, complemented by a full bar. Excellent service is provided, too. Lunch sets come cheaper than dinner, as is usual in Japan.
