- This restaurant has a lively and informal atmosphere matched with reasonable prices. To find the place look for the large illuminated white bird's wing jutting out from the side of the building on the side street just north of Sanjo-Kawaramachi. The first thing you notice on entering is the beautiful light wood of the flooring and low tables; the whole place is in modern Japanese style. The seating is in the form of cushions (zabuton). Salads, grilled chicken on a stick (yakitori), carpaccio and the house specialty gyusuji and daikon, which is cooked for 24 hours (JPY580), are just a few of the items on the extensive menu.
