User Review:
- stay one night with good food and next day walk over to Kurama or taxi , see Kurama then enjoy the spa , but check Kibune listings as there are many other places to stay there and all by the river, very famous in Japan as a place to escape the summer heat in Kyoto in the old days, where they have platforms over the river on which they feed you in the cool air of the river flowing below you , very unique but only in the summer months, in the winter they have nabe food , an iron bowl heated slowly as you add what you want from the seasonal list of vegs, meat, tofu etc. plus a warm sake and a fluffy futon. !!!
