Description:
- An extremely interesting and much-visited rock garden, on the east side, confined in a space 47 x 12 feet, established in the Muromachi Period in 1509. Mountains and the sea and a boat are easily visualized, as are animal faces in the rocks and sand. Three-dimensional! The other gardens are of less interest, however.Best to visit as soon as it opens due to the large crowds.
