Description:
- Nostalgia buffs will easily locate this specialty museum, as a distinctive Kewpie doll is prominently displayed at the entrance. More than 3,000 toys form the basis of the collection, some dating to the Edo period. One can get a glimpse of history and past life styles by looking at toys. One game on display is called "Annihilate Roosevelt." Another is the card game called "Peace," popular following the Pacific War. Do not overlook the 1964 bullet train made of tin or the 1959 vintage Crown Prince and Princess pair of dolls was produced to commemorate their wedding.
